Simufact Engineering is presenting Simufact Additive a powerful and scalable simulation tool for the simulation of metal-based additive manufacturing processes. The software provides information about distortions and residual stresses in the component and thus forms the basis for the development of suitable countermeasures before the first part is ever printed. The software covers the relevant 3D processes beginning from printing of the part, followed by heat treatment and cutting of the plate and support structures.
